Hope, I really loved your poem. With the vivid descriptions, it clearly painted a picture of where you are from in my mind. But like cooper said, “from the home of the braves,” and the “Home of the Brave” were very similar. Overall, the poem was amazing.

I really liked the poem, Hope. I also like the phrase you put in, “And where ya’ll isn’t slang but a way of life.” Even though the poem was great!, I would like to give some advice. In the poem you said “From the home of the Braves” and then later said “From the home of the brave.” These are good phrases and have different meanings, but are very similar. I would say that you might want to have something different, there or maybe word it differently. Overall, excellent job!!!

I feel while reading this poem I was there, in that moment. The discriptivness, and the though that I can see that went into it gives it meaning. You are an amasing writer.
