I read two poems, “STEREOTYPES,” by Patricia in Maryland and “This Mask,” by Adelle in Maryland. First of all, I agree with everything you said, Patricia; we do not choose how we are labeled, people choose for us. Good work on the piece. Adelle, Your poem was really good. I liked the way you put your feelings down on paper and you did not hold back. I thought it was an honest piece of work. Keep it up.

“This Mask” by Adelle, was a great poem i read. I really liked your poem, it was very interesting and also true, I think everyone wears a mask in his/her life. I really enjoyed reading it!

I read the poem entitled “If You Cared,” by Giselle in Maryland. While reading it, I couldn’t believe the fluidity of it all! Her words and feelings seemed to flow out onto the page seamlessly as I read on. The poem itself was unbelievably descriptive, and I could truly tell that she meant every word of the poem. The poem was a refreshing glance at her feelings at an exact moment in time, and it takes a lot of effort to show that so well! Giselle, you are a great writer, and I can’t wait so see what you write later on in life!

I read the poem entitled “This Mask,” by Adelle from Maryland. While reading, I was amazed at how deep the meaning of the poem was, and how true the metaphor of the mask was for so many people in today’s world. I actually really liked the spacing of the poem as well. It only seemed to add to the intensity and truth of the metaphor, intensifying every line as I read on. However, I believe that the best part of the poem, however, was how easily it was to see that Adelle was writing from her own soul and experiences, and it just made the poem better! Keep up the great work, Adelle. I look forward to reading your future poems!

I have been reading sooooo many poems, but the two that I thought were really good were Stereotypes by Patricia and This Mask by Adelle. I understand were Patricia was coming from! Why should we be given a title before anyone gets to know us? We may look like a jock, but could be really smart too. I really like this poem, good job Patricia!!!! Adelle, what a great poem! I really liked your poem too! It reminded me of Patricias poem. I liked the words that you used to describe your feelings, and I hope that you will continue to write these poems! Good Job Patricia and Adelle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
